Triple Stamping Technique

It has been one of those days where tonight I needed a glass of moscato and to get in my craft room and make something. I had been seeing tons of cards using what I am going to call the triple stamping technique. I am not sure who started this awesome technique but I love it! I looked up tutorials online to see how to do it and came across a you tube video that shows the technique. In the video she uses an ink layering effect. I just stuck to a simple two tone inking my images. On this card I used Stampin up Not quite navy card stock as my base and two layers, whisper white in the other 3 layers. I used Stampin up not quite navy and bashful blue classic ink. And the stamps are from the snow swirled stamp set by Stampin up. After I got everything set up and measured and cut I discovered I could not find my blocks. So, this card is made without a block. There are imperfections in it. But, for not having a block I think it turned out okay.

My first card in Hawaii!

I recently discovered Lawn Fawn stamp sets! They are one of my favorite designers as far as stamps go. In this card I used one of the thank you sets that Lawn Fawn sends you with every purchase you make and also Critters in the Forrest. I used a 3x3 card with Stampin up card stock. The images are colored in with one of my other new obsessions! COPICS!!! My husband must love me because he let me order an entire starter collection!! I am no where near being good with the markers. They are alot harder than they look to get the blending right! It feels really good to get back in the swing of things especially now that my craft closet is done and I have a dedicated work space! I hope you enjoy this card! I am submitting it to the Lawn Fawn CHA Winter 2013 Challenge!
